Watched Hunter × Hunter: Phantom Rouge earlier. I can’t help myself from making a doodle of Illumi because all the scenes where he appeared are so extreme and awesome and so much eyegasm [except the last battle which was so lame to an infinite extent]. And he appeared so many times, like 30% of the movie was Illumi kicking ass. And I’m such an Illumi fan so haha yeah.

Though I am terribly saddened at how much the movie failed. It failed at so many levels I can’t explain. So disappointingly sad. The movie failed so much that in the middle of the film people were already leaving, talking with their company, doing something else, and just showing pure boredom. So sad especially for HxH fans.

Hi 1000thsummer! Despite Smithmicro giving us Gunship fellas free copies of Manga Studio 5, I’ve never tried the program because my pc is not that strong. I’m still using a 32-bit OS [WinXP] and Manga Studio 5 runs better at 64-bit OS, so I’m still stuck with Manga Studio 4 EX and Sai. My friend and co-gunship member Noko tested Manga Studio 5 to her heart’s content and she says that it is somewhat like Clip Paint Lab. You can check Manga Studio 5’s features here. Sorry for not being much of a help >_>;;;

Sometimes I use the ”Tokyopop trim” or “Tokyopop size” size (approximately 5” × 7.5”). Sometimes I use an A5 sized canvas which is half of an A4 sized canvas when I make manga that I’ll be selling at local conventions so it will be easier for me to find a local printer. Most of the time my clients give me specific document dimensions because they’ll be the ones printing the copies and their publishers/printers have specific document size requirements. I use 1200dpi on every manga page document I work on~

I was really surprised when the award winning moe king senior of mine Kriss handed me a bazooka like bright hot pink huge tube like thing tied in a bright pink ribbon gift. And when I opened it, it was a fucking bokken 木剣. A fucking authentic bokken I can’t even. I felt so much unworthy of the beautiful bokken /soob here are the pictures:

The artbook contains illustrations from Korean artists. Tons of cute and pretty illustrations of women, yes the book only has drawings of girls! Yay more references! (°◇° )ノ

But what really caught my attention is that the book has sections of artist interviews. Some pages have walkthroughs or process shots from the artists. I am really interested to read stuff about how other artists live their day to day lives and how they work and how their environment looks like xDD It is really very interesting! And they are really very humble! So much to learn from this book > w <
